Welcome to the Vortex! This page was set up as a placeholder page when the website was being restored and re-designed. The name kind of tickled me, so I wanted to keep it, but didn't know what to do with it. I decided it would be a page for all things non-dog related. So here are some things that make me laugh or amaze me - hopefully you'll either get a kick out of it or it will boggle your mind too or make you go hmmm!
Hyperbole and a Half
This site is freaking hilarious! Laugh so hard, you cry, hilarious. The drawings totally make the site! Two of my favorite posts are Dog and Dogs Don't Understand Basic Concepts Like Moving. Okay, I know I said this page was for non-dog related stuff. Oh well.
The Canadian Death Race
Had never heard of this before, but stumbled upon it while searching for hotels in Western Canada. You either have to be very brave or very stupid to attempt this - apparently many do each year. Crazy enough to be intriguing!
